Nevada Humanities Presents Young Chautauqua

Don’t miss this special line-up of public performances by Nevada’s own Great Basin Young Chautauqua Scholars.

Now in its 26th season, Great Basin Young Chautauqua is an award-winning program in which young people learn how to research and develop original Chautauqua presentations. The young scholars, ages 8-18, select an historical figure and then spend four months researching and rehearsing their characters in preparation for performances in the community and during the Great Basin Young Chautauqua Showcase at Restless Artists’ Theatre on June 28 and 29, in Sparks.

See these talented young performers at Sundance on May 19th and 20th. Performances start at 2:00pm.
