Annual Poetry Month Reading Series: Melanie Perish, Karen Terrey, June Sylvester Saraceno, and MJ Jacobson


For the 20th year, Sundance is pleased to host a series of readings in honor of National Poetry Month. Our featured poets on Thursday, April 4th will be Melanie Perish, Karen Terrey, June Sylvester Saraceno, and MJ Jacobson.

Karen Terrey is a poet who lives in Truckee where she's been honing her snow-shoveling technique this winter.  She leads writing workshops through her business, Tangled Roots Writing, and teaches at Sierra College.  

June Sylvester Saraceno’s third collection of poetry, The Girl from Yesterday, is forthcoming from Cherry Grove in January 2020. Her two previous books of poetry are of Dirt and Tar and Altars of Ordinary Light. Her first novel, Feral, North Carolina, 1965 is forthcoming from Southern Fried Karma Publishing in November 2019.
