Consignment Program

Thank you for the opportunity to support your publication. An important part of our mission is to support authors in our community, and our consignment program allows us to carry a much wider variety of self-published and print-on-demand titles.

To be considered for our consignment program, your book needs the following:

  • A printed and bound spine displaying the title and author name
  • Paperback, hardback, board, or equivalent cover displaying the title and author name
  • A 13-digit International Standard Book Number (ISBN)

If your book meets these requirements, please email or write Jane Bramley at consign@sundancebookstore.com or at 121 California Avenue, Reno, NV 89509. Please describe your book and provide the date of publication as well as the retail price. We cannot accept unsolicited books. If we think your book would be a good fit for Sundance’s audience, Jane will contact you with additional instructions. All review decisions are final.

Consignment Tips and Book Signings

  • Let everyone know your book is available at Sundance. Some of our most successful authors have used Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to boost sales.
  • Contact local media, libraries, book clubs, and any group that might be interested in your book.
  • Send press releases, review copies, and other promotional materials to generate interest.
  • Because our schedule is very full, book signings are determined by a number of factors, including time of the year, community interest, and sales numbers. The greater the interest in your book, the greater the chance we can schedule a store event.

Thank you again for considering us. We look forward to hearing from you.
