Sundance will be selling books at the Go Red For Women Luncheon, a part of the American Heart Association, at the Grand Sierra Resort in the Silver State Pavilion. 

Monday, April 14th 5:30pm 
Anthony Doerr, author of Saving Grace, will be reading at the Joe Crowley Student Union Theater on the UNR campus.  Sundance will be on hand with copies of his work.

Thursday, April 17th 6:30pm
Don Hardy, professor of Linguistics at the UNR will present on the works and influence of Flannery O’Connor and answer the question, Why Read Flannery O’Connor?

Wednesday, April 23rd 6:30-8pm
Sundance will host a reception for artist Mark Vollmer whose photography installation will be showcased at Sundance for the months of April and May.

Tuesday, April 29th 6:30pm
Join Sundance the last Tuesday of every month for a spotlight on music.  Each month will feature a different genre hand picked by Troy Falk, resident music genius.  Stop by after work, try out some new music and find the perfect book to compliment. April features Scandinavian Jazz Music and Mystery Night.  Come on over about 6:30 to listen to some Norwegian music, pepper Troy with question and talk with Stephanie about Scandinavian mysteries.

Sandra Ott, author of War, Judgment and Memory in the Basque Borderlands, 1914-1945 will be on hand to discuss and sign this University of Nevada Press publication.

Celebrating the May release of The Good Fight: Hard Lessons from Searchlight to Washington Sundance welcomes Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for an afternoon signing.

Sundance is delighted to welcome back Reno native Willy Vlautin to read from his latest novel, Northline. He may also break out the guitar and play a few numbers from Northline’s accompanying CD.

 Diana Ahmad, associate professor of history at the University of Missouri-Rolla, will be discussing and signing Opium Debates and Chinese Exclusion Laws which focuses much attention on the Virginia City area.
